Prospecting Playbooks
Start with the task your team needs to finish today
These guided workflows help founders, SDRs, and outbound agencies move from a clear brief to a reviewable result. Each playbook keeps evidence, uncertainty, and the human decision in view.
“A good playbook does not remove judgment. It puts judgment in the right places.”
Begin with a business question, not a request for the largest possible list. Describe what makes an account relevant, what would disqualify it, which roles can reasonably own the problem, and how recent the supporting evidence must be. The agent can carry repetitive research and formatting while a person challenges the match and the message.
The output is a working draft with an audit trail—not a claim of consent, intent, accuracy, or guaranteed delivery. That distinction makes the workflow safer to learn from and easier to improve.
Pick a playbook
Founder · Validate a focused market
Brief
Describe a narrow segment, a problem hypothesis, territory, recent signal, and exclusions.
Agent actions
Find candidate companies, resolve domains, group dated context, and identify likely buying functions.
Review gate
Reject weak matches and unsupported intent claims before contact discovery.
Output
A small account set with match rationale, unknowns, and next research questions.
SDR · Prepare a human-approved sequence
Brief
Provide approved accounts, buyer roles, messaging boundaries, suppression rules, and sequence length.
Agent actions
Verify contact status, assemble claim-level evidence, and draft concise steps with a stop condition.
Review gate
Check relevance, claims, opt-out language, regional rules, and SPF/DKIM/DMARC readiness.
Output
An editable sequence queued for named human approval, never automatic sending by default.
Outbound agency · Keep client work separated
Brief
Define one client’s ICP, approved sources, credentials, exclusions, destinations, and retention window.
Agent actions
Research within the brief, label provenance, and prepare a review queue without mixing workspaces.
Review gate
Confirm client approval, data permissions, suppression, claim accuracy, and destination ownership.
Output
A client-specific evidence package and approved draft with a reversible handoff.
